Individuals with Asperger’s Disorder exhibit social isolation and eccentric behavior in childhood. They have difficulty with social interaction and non-verbal communication. Their speech may sound peculiar due to abnormalities of inflection and a repetitive pattern. Physical clumsiness may be prominent both in their articulation and gross motor behavior. They usually have a distinct area of interest which usually leaves no room for more age-appropriate common interests.

“I don’t know where I would be today without Kathleen’s help and guidance. When I wanted to give up she so helped me to hang in there. She broke things down such that I was less overwhelmed and helped me to see things more factually. Kathleen gave me the support and confidence I needed to launch and be more successful.” Paul, age 29
